Those without VoLTE ( 4G/LTE ) technology phones could lose mobile service in 2021
As we touched on earlier this year, the nationwide mobile providers will be shutting down their 2G and 3G networks to make way for new 5G networks. At that time, we noted that the shutdown process had already begun and 3G users could start experiencing service disruptions. It’s now become clear that those with older phones will need to upgrade to VoLTE phones as a matter of urgency since their phones will stop working
